Welcome to Spudland - A pace devoted entirely to one mankind's most versatile and under-appreciated(in my opinion) foods: The Potato.

Across North America, grocery stores, farms, and farmer's markets offer a surprising variety of the great spuds. Some are fluffy and perfect for baking. Others stay firm in soups or salads. Some turn golden and crispy when fried. Many people only know them as "white", "red", or "yellow", but behind those simple labels are dozens of distinct varieties with their own textures, flavors, and best uses in the kitchen.

Spudland exists to make sense of that delicious yet dizzying variety.
